GETTING HERE

WHEREVER POSSIBLE, PLEASE USE ACTIVE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MODES OF TRANSPORT.

By public transport

You can use buses/trains that go to or near Aigburth Road to enter from the L17 postcode. Or buses/trains that go to Rose Lane to enter from the L18 postcode.

Bus
61 to North Mossley Hill Road stop on Elmswood Road then walk to Sudley House entrance on Mossley Hill Road (L18 8BX)
80/80A to Rose Lane and walk to Sudley House entrance on Mossley Hill Road (L18 8BX)
82 to “Milner Road” stop on Aigburth Road, then walk up Dundonald Road to Sudley Fields Entrance on North Sudley Road (L17 6BS)

Train
Mossley Hill Station (City Line) is around a 15 minute walk (enter via Sudley House entrance on Mossley Hill Road at L18 8BX)
Aigburth Station (Northern Line) is around a 20 minute walk (enter via Sudley Fields entrance at L17 6BS).

By bike

We are fully accessible by bike and have on-site bike parking. By bike, you can enter via the Mossley Hill Road (L18 8BX) entrance and then stay right when entering the Sudley Estate, right down to the end of the lane where you will find a bike shed where you can lock your bike.

On foot

From Mossley Hill Road L18 8BX: arrive at Sudley Estate entrance and follow map as shown, until you reach a small carpark.  The Changing Rooms are the building directly after the carpark.

From North Sudley Road L17 6BS: Walk up via the path in the woods (as shown on map) or via the field from the entrance to Sudley Fields on North Sudley Road.

By car

Please use L18 8BX postcode in sat nav but please choose The Changing Rooms, not Sudley House. We are not in Sudley House itself, but behind it, and are a completely separate organisation. When you enter the estate by car, please park in the various parking spaces provided and walk down to the garden by foot if you can, following the orange line on the map below. If you have mobility issues, you can drive down to the small car park next to The Changing Rooms where there are around 8 parking spaces. 

PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN DRIVING IN THE ESTATE – IT IS A PUBLIC PARK USED BY CHILDREN, DOGS AND PEDESTRIANS, SO PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY (5MPH) AND CAREFULLY.

Please note, we are only on site at the Walled Garden when sessions are running and some sessions are not open to the general public.

Please do not attend The Changing Rooms without an appointment.
